Justin Pace (Australian Hairdresser of the Year 2023 – AHIA Creative) is one of Australia’s quintessential hairdressers – colourist / cutter / stylist – three decades’ experience rendering his work the archetype of virtuosic skill (ability to blur the classic, commercial and creative genres of distinct expertise). Justin brings to the fore not only his flair for the innovative side of hairdressing but close to two decades’ experience running three companies: Co and Pace Salons, Heroes and Villains Barbers, and Papas and Pace.
BRAD RIXON - RIXON HAIR
Born into a 3rd generation of hairdressers Brad Rixon has been able to ignite his own creative vision through his unique lifetime in the hairdressing environment. As a young hairdresser, he positioned himself amongst some of Australia’s most iconic hairdressers. A driven educator, Brad is an Ambassador for R+Co which sees him traveling internationally and throughout Australia endeavouring to share his knowledge and inspire those around him. Through his experience in the industry and his excitement for innovation and development, Brad takes great pleasure in inspiring those around him.
ALANNAH JADE - ELLA & JADE
Alannah’s ability to bring together and further train an award-winning team, is at the heart of Ella&Jade’s success. It speaks to her unique history in the hair industry. Having been on the floor of the family-owned salon since the age of 14 and having travelled and trained extensively outside of Australia since then, Alannah was in a unique position when she took over ownership of Ella&Jade. She wanted to both honour the salons long history of community-care, but also push her clients experience further, delivering bespoke, healthy and fashion-forward hair in a luxurious and relaxing space. ANNA MCNAMARA - ELLA & JADE
Anna has been a dedicated hairdresser for over 15 years, with the past five spent at Ella&Jade. She has progressed from Senior Stylist to Master Stylist, then Educator, and now serves as Technical Director. Her portfolio includes work on multiple fashion weeks, campaigns, and photoshoots, as well as the creation of her own stunning imagery and collections. These accomplishments have led to national recognition, with Anna being named a finalist for both AHFA’s Newcomer of the Year and Queensland Hairdresser of the Year. Most notably, she was awarded Gold for Creative Haircutter of the Year in Australia at the Goldwell Global Creative Awards. This achievement earned her a place on the global stage.
KRISTIE KESIC
Kristie is a master in the art of hair colouring and a beacon of brilliance in Australia’s hairdressing scene. With an extraordinary 17-year career, she has not only perfected her craft but redefined it, earning the coveted title of Colour World International Colour Genius 2024 and recognition as one of Australia’s best colourists. As the owner of Cobelle Creative in Brisbane, Kristie’s visionary leadership and dedication to mentoring have propelled the salon to numerous accolades, including the prestigious AHIA Australian Best Salon Team of the Year 2024 and the Australian Women in Business Award.
MATT CLARKE
Matt Clarke, 2023 Australian Barber of the Year and winner of the 2022 Mizutani Global Cutting Competition, is a renowned hairdresser specializing in short hair and men’s cutting. With over 12 years of experience, Matt has established a prominent career both behind the chair and as an educator. For more than 7 years, he has served as a dedicated hair educator, collaborating with industry leaders like Revlon Professional, American Crew, Heiniger Professional, and 4B. Traveling across Europe, the UK, and North America he has shared expertise globally. Also a known session stylist, having worked with iconic brands such as ASOS, GQ, Topshop, Adidas, and Sailor Jerry, Matt consistently delivers innovative and fashion forward styles.

For too long Barbers have had to rely on the hairdressing industry when it comes to accessing great products and industry leading education. The Barber Temple set out to change that, and give Barbers a place to call their own.
